E-3 gaming conference is not happening again

The E-3 Gaming Conference was scheduled to be held in Los Angeles, USA in June this year. However, the event has been canceled for the third year in a row. The decision was taken by the organizing body Entertainment Software Association (ESA) considering the health risks of Covid-19 and the safety of exhibitors and participants. However, the ESA did not say whether the digital event would be held this year. The ESA said in a statement that “they are looking forward to the future of E-3 and will be announcing more details soon.”

Since 1955, manufacturers have been considering the release of new games in the E-3 market. It was at this gaming conference that the Nintendo Y was first unveiled, the PlayStation 4 was announced, and classic games like Hello 2 were released.

However, due to the Corona situation, the 2020 and 2021 events were canceled. However, last year the event was held digitally with game makers such as Nintendo, Xbox, Konami and Ubisoft, and game lovers were allowed to view online exhibitions, trailers, and preview products.
